Entrepreneurs working with innovations for low-income markets face several challenges in taking ideas to market, securing funding as well as scaling their ideas.
However, these challenges are not restricted to entrepreneurs only. Mentors, investors and experts too want opportunities to connect with entrepreneurs and with each other because collaborating with a community of like-minded stakeholders enables innovations for low-income markets to be accelerated.
It is for this reason that two years ago the team at Ennovent started the Ennovent Network – an online, easily accessible and free platform focused on innovations for low-income markets that enables members to connect, collaborate, request and offer resources as well as work together on new business opportunities. You can find out more about the Ennovent Network here.
This week, we became a 5000 member strong community with more than 350 companies, 1900 entrepreneurs and 400 investors spanning 200 countries. Nevertheless, a community is only as valuable as its members. We therefore take a moment to reflect and learn how the Ennovent Network has been helping five of our members in recent times.
During our Journey, we came across Ennovent. We really appreciate Ennovent’s Expert Request Service. This service and your dedication to support the Entrepreneur are superb. The expert feedback we received as a result of the request feature was instrumental in helping us develop our online marketing strategy – Vivek Kaushik, Founder – Bodhicrew
When I was looking for a co-founder I got responses from almost 15 people on the Ennovent network and am now in advanced talks with three of those people. Through the Ennovent Network I was able to receive great suggestions for co-founders.” – Raj Kumar Chetan, Co-Founder of Frugal Infotech
New business connections
Co-Founder of Azadi “The team at Ennovent featured various network members working on female sanitary innovations for their Woman’s Day special where they featured Azadi. Thanks to their showcase, the folks at I-Probono reached out to us to explore synergies for probono legal aid”
Developing business models
Through a feedback competition run by the Ennovent Network I got the opportunity to attend the Global Launchpad program hosted by the Booth School of Business and the Polsky Centre for Entrepreneurship and Innovation in Mumbai. The Chicago booth Program was excellent and I am thankful to Ennovent for nominating me and giving me this opportunity. Tom Jose, Co-Founder – Emprenure Labs
Mentorship & Scale Opportunities
Founder, Sudiksha “Since my association with Ennovent, I have been in touch with a lot of mentors and Ennovent works hard at finding new initiatives for their members – they helped me find out about The Unreasonables where I am currently participating for example. Through the Ennovent Network, I also found out about the Runway to Success ET Now TV show and got the opportunity to participate and pitch Sudiksha Knowledge Solutions to experienced VC’s and practitioners – Naveen Pedalagalla, Founder – Sudiksha Knowledge Systems
At Ennovent we are thankful to our members for helping us reach this exciting milestone. But this is just the beginning. In the coming months we will be further developing the Ennovent Network to bring you an even more powerful community to drive innovation and impact forward.
If you haven’t already, join the Ennovent Network now to collaborate with a global community and accelerate your work for low-income markets.
